Funeral schedules in Croatia: where to find the date
When someone close dies, the first question is often: when and where is the funeral? In Croatia there is no single place for all towns. Here are the sources that help most often in practice.

Cemetery administration
The funeral schedule is usually kept by the cemetery administration, typically a municipal company of the town. In Zagreb, Gradska groblja publish the schedule of funerals and farewells online. For other places, ask the local administration; whether a public schedule exists varies.
Obituaries, parish and funeral home
Daily and regional newspapers and their portals publish obituaries, often with the date and place of the funeral. In smaller places they are posted on notice boards, at the church or the shop. The parish office knows the dates of funeral masses, and the funeral home gives the exact date and place.
In some places, local portals and radio stations regularly report who has died and when the funeral takes place.
Tip
If you cannot find the date anywhere, a call to the cemetery administration or the parish office is fastest. We cannot guarantee an appointment. If nobody accepts your order, we will contact you ourselves and refund the full amount. Not available everywhere yet, with a waiting list.
